Sulfites in food and drink can pose significant health risks to consumers, especially individuals with asthma or sulfite allergies. Sulfites are commonly found in wines, and may be added to dried fruits and red meats to preserve their color and fresh appearance.

Sulfite Check strips allow for rapid, sensitive testing of food and drink for the presence of sulfites. Food and drink can be check discretely prior to a meal, and the consumer alerted to the presence of sulfites.

Brief Instructions

1. Remove the two provided strips from their container.
2. Dip the first test strip in clean water.
3. Dip the second test strip in the test solution.
4. Compare the two strips.
5. If no blue color forms on the test solution strip, there are sulfites in the food or drink.
